24-year-old dark mestizo Ryan Roberts bested 15 contestants to emerge top prize winner for the Mr. International Philippines title held last Sept. 1 at the A-Venue Mall in Makati City.
The 6-footer Fil-Am former US army man won a cash prize of P20,000.00 and the right to represent the country in the Mr. International 2008 pageant to be held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan on November 23 this year.
1st runner up was pageant veteran Jeffrey Surio while John Bardo Espiritu finished in 3rd place. Judges included top designer Renee Salud, fashion producer and director Robbie Carmona, swimwear designer Ricky Abad, Joel Cruz of Aficionado among others.
